Dakbaksho Movies Reviews
The film continues to be relevant and probably will remain so for a long time to come
DAKBAKSHO.... This is
one of the finest psychological drama has ever made in Bengali Film
Industry by the Director duo PROSENJIT CHOUDHURY & ABHIJIT
CHOUDHURY....
Now comes to the story part.... The movie name says it all.... DAKBAKSHO.... DAKBAKSHO means LETTER BOX.... One day, someone starts dropping letters in a letter box, which has been abandoned for many years. These letters carry no addresses on them. The contents of the letters are suspicious and clearly indicate a conspiracy, a sinister one to murder someone.... On the other hand, Srija, a renowned documentary filmmaker, detaches herself from her job, while a mysterious photographer makes way into her house.... Then the story continues with lots of tricks & twists, which are very much interesting as per the audience's point of view....
The most funny part of the film is both the director & the Director Of Photography (DOP) share the same name as well as surname.... DOP PROSENJIT CHOUDHURY is not just a director of photographer, he is the NUCLEUS of DAKBAKSHO.... This movie is definitely a low budget movie, but when you see this film, you can't imagine that this is a low budget film.... Camera work is just awesome, when you compare with the budget.... on the other hand, DIRECTOR PROSENJIT CHOUDHURY deserves a big round of applause for his direction in this movie, DAKBAKSHO....
Satrajit Sarkar is the male lead of this film DAKBAKSHO.... He gives his best shot for the film & he deserves a hell lot of appraisal & certainly he is a new born star of bengali film industry.... on the other hand, Supriti Choudhury is the female lead character of DAKBAKSHO & believe me, she delivers a power packed performance in the movie name called DAKBAKSHO.... She also deserves a hell lot of appraisal for her character in DAKBAKSHO.... Pradip Roy also delivers his part very well.... You will definitely remember his character for so long....
Music is good.... KAKEDER GAAN is one of the finest song of the year.... & the background score is too good for any bengali movie....
PROSENJIT CHOUDHURY deserves the credit for creating an excellent film & the film continues to be relevant and probably will remain so for a long time to come.
